    After the apartment was staged, the listing broker decided that she could ask for more money.  She listed the apartment for $1.495MM, an immediate $50K of additional equity for the owner. 

    What followed was an interesting bidding war, which led to a cash buyer at a final $1.535MM!  Almost $100K more than the original expected listing price!  In the end, not only will the seller get a great return on his investment in staging, but the broker will get a nice bump in her commission.
